What is a Desired Outcome?

A Desired Outcome is a measurable performance indicator, that allows you to focus on only the related opportunities, as your time is limited.

Outcomes are structured as follows:

  • Desired Outcome
    • Product Opportunity
      • User Persona
        • Customer Journey
        • Research Studies
        • Product Concepts
      • Other Personas ...
    • Other Opportunities ...
  • Other Outcomes ...

How would I use a Desired Outcome?

To use a Desired Outcome, you'd use these steps:

  1. Define a Desired Outcome.
  2. There are 3 Options:
    • Use as a repository for storing Customer Feedback (provided via the feedback widget)
    • Manually define problem statements as Opportunities
    • Separate opportunities for each team, as they mostly likely have different objectives
  3. Add weightings to reorder the outcomes.
  4. Grey outcomes once fulfilled.

Define a Desired Outcome

To define a Desired Outcome:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click the
    (Add button) near the top of the page.
    You will see a popup dialog box with title 'Add Desired Outcome':

    Enter a Desired Outcome...
    Add
    Cancel
  3. Enter the measurable Outcome you want to achieve.
  4. Finally, click Add button.
    Note: The Outcome will be appear immediately.

Update a Desired Outcome

To update a Desired Outcome:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click the
    (Edit button) of the Desired Outcome.
    You will see a popup dialog box with title 'Edit Desired Outcome':

    Lower Churn to below 10%
    Weight
    1
    Color
    Update
    Cancel
  3. Apply your Changes.
  4. Finally, click Update button.
    Note: The Desired Outcome will be updated immediately.

Delete a Desired Outcome

To delete a Desired Outcome:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click the
    (Delete button) of the Desired Outcome.
    You will see a popup dialog box with title 'Delete Desired Outcome':

    Title
    Are you sure you want to delete this Desired Outcome?
    Warning
    This opportunity will be permanently deleted
    Delete
    Cancel
  3. Finally, click Delete button.
    Note: The Desired Outcome will be deleted immediately.
